·         If your WiFi router supports the 5 GHz band, then reconnect your extender to the power supply and press the on/off button, and connect the extender to the 5 GHz band.

·         Unplug the extender and take it to some other part of your room that is about halfway from your router and where the wifi signal is very poor.The location that you choose must be within the range of your existing WiFi router network.

·         Plug in your extender into an electrical outlet and wait for 2 minutes, till the Power LED light green.

·         With the help of the Router LED make sure where the extender and the router connection is within range.

·         Keep plugging the extender into an outlet closer to the router until the router led lights change amber green.

·         Now test your extender by moving your computer or mobile device to the place where you receive poor WiFi signals.

Mesh Extender Web Installation

·         Put on your computer or mobile device, click the WiFi connection manager and locate NETGEAR_EXT. The Extender LED lights, as soon as you are connected to the extender.

·         Launch a web browser.

·         Visit mywifiext

·         Installation page will be displayed.

·         Enter the login page and fill in your default username and password.

·         Move ahead as prompted. As you are connected the extender at mywifiext led light would turn amber green.

·         If not then restart by pressing the restart button places on the extender.

·         Now repeat the process after waiting for seven minutes.

·         Once you are connected shift your computer or mobile to the place where you receive poor WiFi signals.

·         Remember always try to keep the extender and the router within range in the same room itself.

·         Keep the browser updated.
