Microsoft CEO speaks out against private digital currencies

Tech companies should not issue currencies, leaving this mission to the state. This was announced by Microsoft President Brad Smith

"Monetary emission should be almost unambiguously managed by a subject who is responsible to society and really thinks only about state interests, which means the government."

Most central banks are studying digital currencies, the greatest interest of regulators is riveted to stablecoins, various options for using CBDC are being considered.
