8 Makeup Tips for a Bride
In these 8 steps of makeup, I explain how you can achieve all this with your cosmetics. After all, you want to shine all the time at your wedding! So fast check out our tips for bridal make-up in udaipur.
Primer
A primer ensures that your make-up stays in place and to smooth the fine lines and pores. I have used 2 of my favorites for this- MAC Prep & Prime | Kiko Milano Skin Tone Face Base. Choose a primer suited to your skin type and use a special primer for eyelids, lips, and face.
Foundation
Be careful with the SPF foundation for complexions that have a higher protection factor than 10. These do not always provide the ideal effect in combination with flash photos. Choose a silicone-based foundation for long-lasting results. This keeps the touchups in between to a minimum. Do not forget to powder, but keep in mind… less is more!
Eyebrows
Epilate your eyebrows a few days before your wedding. If necessary, fill them in with a matching shade that matches your eyebrow color. Nicely shaped eyebrows ensure that your eyes are lifted, as it were. They contribute to a fresh and complete look. Eye shadow
Find out in advance which colors suit you. It is better to avoid bright and harsh shades. In photos, these can seem very unflattering. Instead, go for soft colors like brown, purple, or peach to create an open look.
Eyeliner
Whether you go for liquid eyeliner, a pencil, or eyeshadow - choose a contrasting color. Plum color or dark gray and brown always do well. If you want a soft look, avoid black. Don't draw harsh lines under your eyes, it will certainly give you a stern and perhaps tired look. Waterproof is a must!
Mascara
For an instant lifting effect, use an eyelash curler on completely dry and clean eyelashes. I can't live without my Shu Uemura eyelash curler! Make sure your mascara is waterproof - Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara is my personal favorite. You could also apply false lashes for that extra touch of glamor!
Cheeks
Choose a color that comes closest to your natural blush. Cream blushes are easy to use and provide a natural result. You can use a powder blush over the creme blush so that it will certainly last longer. Make sure you apply the blush in the right place to ensure that you achieve an optical lifting effect.
Lips
Use a lip primer and lip pencil. Fill in your lips completely with a lip pencil color of your choice. Then use a moisturizing lipstick. Select the same color for your lip pencil and lipstick. Last but not least, keep your lipstick handy on your wedding day.
