Mini interview with Loniece Ningo, biology teacher

- How do you motivate yourself to work?
- I have intrinsic motivations, as teaching is my passion.

- Do you have a story of choosing your profession and subject?
- I planned to be a doctor and biology has always been my passion.

- What do you like most about your work?
- Seeing students develop an interest in lifelong learning, research and investigation.

- Were there any funny or interesting stories?
- Yes. My reaction when a coworker suggested I come to Kazakhstan and teach and I was like, “WHAT?”

- Have you ever wanted to stop learning the subject?
- Never. To appreciate life, you must love biology.

- Why did you choose our school? - This is my third NIS school. It’s best to move around and see many areas of Kazakhstan

- What kind of wishes, recommendations or advices would you like to say to the students of our school?
- Develop a lifelong love of learning to stave off Alzheimer’s and dementia.
