Who is the Balloonsville guy?
All sol degens salam aleykum. Today I would like to talk about the painful topic of solana, or any blockchain, about rugpulls.
What do we even know about it? Well, they collected money from us?
So there is one unique man - Balunsville Guy, aka Ragger and many more what ever his name was.
What is his uniqueness? In the fact that this man has made at least five (9) rugpulls. Three of which are very famous among the solana community. This man raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in total, had time to talk to everyone he scammed, tell them how he did it, and repeat it in a couple of months without difficulty.
PROJECTS
I suggest that we start at the beginning.
Balloonsville
In February of this year, the Balloonsville collection came out on the MagicEden Launchpad. Let me remind you that at that time the ME Launchpad was probably the most trusted Solana Launchpad.

Good active, launch on ME, what could possibly go wrong?
Almost immediately after the sold-out, the project tweets something like "Balloonsville is a rugpull, I already withdrew the money, it's all MagicEden's fault"
He also tweeted about how he bypassed the ME system, that the ME didn't ask for his ID, that the ME probably understood that he wasn't planning to do a roadmap, and that all the influencers were corrupt.
After all this ME apologized, refunded all the money, re-created social networks of the project, de-ruged. And our balloonsville guy disappeared.
Reptilian Renegade
Already in May there was again an well-known incident with reptiles. A very popular collection just flew up from 1 to 40sol, everyone was bullish on it, but it happens exactly the same way as with balloonsville. The reason for this was a conflict between the ragger and the hydra launchpad, during which the ragger got 6,000sol frozen, and pulled a lot of info.
As the ragger himself told, he openly said, that he is seo Balloonsville and wants to help hydra audit projects because they missed him.
Decided to play the good guy.
To make you understand the absurdity of the situation, ragger told how he tricked the Hydra. He said that he pretended to be a Filipino during the call, pretending to be an Influencer in order to be listened to. And when there was supposed to get call with several members of the hydra, he only arranged to call seo. Even when the Hydra team turned out to have someone who knew Tagalog, and it seemed that all was lost, the ragger competently jumped out of the conversation and said that his microphone wasn't working and was chatting with team. By the way, this time he was asked for ID, but the ragger is not so simple, so he bought ID.
So, you understand what kind of a man he is. For his age he is really smart and very good at manipulating people to his own purposes.
The Facility
And in October, another collection is coming out, smaller than the previous ones, but still looking promising. Ragger no longer hides the fact that it is him.
He gives out Wl passes to all the victims of his Rugpulls:

-Doodled Dragons

-Reptilian Renegade
-Balloonsville
And, it seemed, here he was finally really on the road to correction and was about to drop something that would give everyone their money back. But it's fucking ragger xd)
In the end, everything goes as usual: Ragger posts strange announcements in discord, the community does not like it. He deletes all announcements and chats and leaves only for holders. Creates another project right away, ahah.
ORI
The project was created immediately after The Facility, overnight. The main idea of the ragger this time is UTILITY, not art. Well, it's understandable - what art can be in one night. And after all that, there are still people who believe him and buy it.
1,500 pictures at 1.2sol sold out instantly. Next it turns out that the supply will not be 1,500, but 5,000, because they will giveaway it to holders who staked The Facility's.
Well, this is where it all stops, after the sold-out collection still lives a couple of hours, and then everything is the same old way - Ragger deletes twitter, discord and everything related to the projects
I contacted ICED and asked him about the whole Ragger's situation, and he sent me his podcast with him. And here's an excerpt from the podcast.
The Balloonsville guy is an emotional but damn smart high school kid who is good at manipulating people and knows how projects are done. On the podcast he told that he started making money at the age of 12 and that he could now easily make $20k a day in trading. But then why the fuck does he make rugpulls? He spent most of the podcast explaining that he wanted to make money long term, so he started doing projects, but he didn't like Balloonsville in the end, Reptilian Renegade was supposed to be that long term project, but because of the hydra situation, it too became a rugpull.
Also, the ragger said a lot of the things I've already written above. The funny thing was that he tried to justify himself for a very long time. He said that he wanted to return the money. In response to the question "why did not return" - said that the money is his incentive to do projects).
Conclusion
Study the projects more carefully, there is no 100% guarantee that there won't be a rugpull. Be less greedy. Pay attention to what the seo says/writes - the success of the project depends on it.
