Fixed: WSAPPX High CPU Usage Error

The WSAPPX High CPU Is the process that runs in the background on our windows 10.8 as per the part of the windows store and the app platform of Microsoft.

The WSAPPX divided into the two separate background services-App X Deployment service and the client License services on the window 10. If you are the using window 8, you can easily see the AppXSVC and WSService

Wsappx high disk and the CPU usage issue

All the times you may easily face the situations where you find the WSAPPX is showing the high disk, CPU, and even memory in the task manager. When you see the so much of your CPU or disk usage, in some cases, you can easily see the high disk usage.

Update the windows to the latest version

AS we know the outdated machine can cause due to the variety of problems, including the CPU usage.so make sure that your operating system is up to date.

 Right-click on Start and select Settings

 Go to Updates & Security

 Click on Check for updates

 Wait till Windows automatically installs the updates

 Reboot your machine

Edit the local group policy

This option will automatically disable the updates for Microsoft store applications. This is not an optimal solution.

 Press Windows key + R

 Type in gpedit.MSc and ht Enter

 In the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Store

 on the right pane, double-click on Turn off the Store application

 in the newly opened window, pick Enabled option and click OK

Stop the apps from updating the automatically via Microsoft store app

You can easily disable automatic updates via the store itself to fix the deployment services' high CPU usage.

 Open Microsoft Store

 On the top-right corner, click on the See more (three horizontal dots)

 Select Settings

 Not toggle the switch Update apps automatically to the left to turn off automatic updates

Disable SuperFetch features

The SuperFetch is not the mandatory services for the window, it does not provide the necessary data four apps fast, and the some of the users claimed that it helped them to fix the high usage of CPU.

 Press Windows key + R

 Type in services. MSC and hit Enter

 Scroll down and locate SuperFetch

 Right-click on it and select Properties

 Under Startup type, pick Disabled

 Click Stop and OK
