Writing Task 1

The charts illustrates the percentage comparisons between different groups of ages in Yemen and Italy in 2000, and they are predicting how things will change in 2050.

Overall, both charts about Yemen show shortage in 60+ age group, whereas the same situation occurs in both charts about Italy in 0-14 age category. However, all charts show that 15-59 age category stay around 50 percent , sometimes it almost reaches 62 percent.

The charts predict that Yemen will increase in numbers of middle-aged people from 46.3 percent in 2000 to 57.3 percent in 2050, whereas percentage of population in terms of children up to 14 years will decrease from a half in 2000 to 37 percent in 2050. There is a meager change in 60+ age category which was 3.6 percent in 2000 and probably will reach only 5.7 percent.

There is noticeable potential changes in Italy's infographics. Predictions show that old people's amount can improve from a fourth of all population in 2000 to 42 percent in 2050, whereas middle-aged group can reduce from 61.6 percent to a little less than a half in 2050. Children age group is relatively stable in both charts about Italy - only 14.3 and 11.5 percent relatively.
