GMAT EXAM 2020
Registrations for the online GMAT exam (Interim GMAT) are now open. The online GMAT is offered as an option by the GMAC as the standard test center-based examination was postponed due to the global coronavirus epidemic. The GMAT exam 2020 is open to all examinees but is primarily geared towards supporting its business school students in the coming months.
GMAT Online: Test Structure
The online GMAT will have only 3 sections i.e. Quantitative, Verbal and Integrated Reasoning. The AWA (Analytical Writing Assessment) section has been removed from the examination. The other three sections will have comparative items / questions in the form of a center-based examination:

For online orders, the clause order will be decided as quantitative, verbal and IR.
The total duration of the test will be 3 hours, including a 15-minute check-in. Students can take an optional 5-minute break before going to the IR section.
Score scale
Just as the number of items and questions in the online GMAT is comparable, the person-test conducted in the test centers, the score scoring algorithm and the score scale will also maintain consistency for section scores and total scores. The score report will include individual section scores, total scores, and percentage of candidates.

A) GMAT online scores are also valid for 5 years and will not be limited to the 12 month and lifetime GMAT limit. Students will only be allowed to take 1 GMAT online test.
B) Unlike the test-center version of GMAT, students will not see their informal scores at the end of the exam. The official score will be sent to them via email within 7 business days of the completion of the exam.
Appointment for online GMAT exam
Appointment dates will be made available from April 20, 2020 to June 15, 2020.
Students can expect more flexibility with the online GMAT since 24 * 7 is available and an appointment for the test can be scheduled 24 hours before the available slot. The appointment date can be extended if required.
Due to some regulatory restrictions, some locations where online GMAT exams will not be available are mainland China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Slovenia.
The GMAT online exam can be taken on any two systems - Windows or Mac.
Currently, proctoring support will be available in English only.
In areas where examination centers are open and safe for access, students can take the exam physically.
