Here we're going to discuss how not to get into the clutches of scammers, what to do to prevent it, and why people are still falling for it.

Types of deception:

1. Scam OTC - specially designed to cheat markets, with small online and lifetime.
2. Scam Escrow - specially created to scam fake real escrow accounts.
3. Account theft - situation where an unscrupulous buyer, by deception, tries to mislead escrow and take the account from the seller through a third party, claiming that the product does not fit him.
4. Counterfeit product - a situation where an unscrupulous seller, trying to deceive the buyer and sell him an inappropriate product.
5. Idiots are a separate caste of unscrupulous individuals who try to prove themselves right, even when they have been spotted cheating.

All the ways to secure yourself for each way:

1. Work with proven markets. There are plenty of them today, but we aggressively recommend our own because we do our job with love and proper motivation. Still, here are some criteria for identifying fake OTCs for the future: 1. number of participants/online; 2. number of reviews; 3. how many days the OTC has existed; 4. some important questions to analyze: "is the seller/buyer offering too good a price?" "where is he in a hurry?" "why doesn't he want to work with proven markets?"
2. Check @username and feel free to write the guarantors from the description of the official group of the market you want. Don't be lazy, because it's your money. If you treat your money badly, there won't be any. It's corny, but how many situations have there been where people have balked at checking and regretted it. Check the date of the avatar at the guarantor, also check your old correspondence with him, if you have already conducted transactions, check the wallets of guarantors.
3. In this situation, the responsibility for resolving the situation lies entirely with the escrow. Our escrows always work according to OTC rules, so if you are a conscientious person, there is nothing to be afraid of. Here you should understand that it's better to send the escrow all the proofs of account validity in advance, it will make his work much easier.
4. Counterfeit product - we shut the unscrupulous seller's mouth with a video of the account from the beginning of the transaction (since the creation of the group) and quietly wait for the guarantor's decision. If you captured the violation, the seller will be blocked, the money returned, and you can keep the fake goods as a souvenir.
5. It can't be helped. Idiots are a caste of people who manage to survive in spite of their stupidity.
