Commercial Demolition
We have considerable experience working in the commercial demolition trade including complete, selective and interior controlled demolition. We can work as your contractor or sub under a general/building contractor.
We understand the need for coordination and communication between all trades because this leads to a productive and safe work site.
We commit to starting a job quickly and finishing on time. We are selective and controlled in our demolition in order to protect the integrity of what property and materials need to remain.
Commercial demolition rarely takes place in an open field. That’s why we’ve worked hard on becoming experts at extracting buildings from tight spaces.
We’re as skilled at removing the center of an operating paper mill as we are at demolishing a building in the middle of a downtown cityscape. Our commercial demolition portfolio includes warehouses, office buildings, bridge decks, grocery stores, and airplane hangars.
On every commercial demolition job we work on, we pay special attention to our impact on the surrounding area and the environmental impacts.
Our employees are trained above and beyond British Columbia standards to guarantee a safe demolition site for everyone, while our high-efficiency green demolition methods help minimize our environmental footprint, which is great for everyone involved on the project!
Whether you are planning a new home, renovation or large commercial project, we are committed to delivering quality service on schedule and at a competitive price.
We at Demolition Contractors have the resources and experience to make Demolition, Deconstruction, and Environmental projects as stress free as possible for people living in Vancouver, BC.

Step 1: Hazmat Report
Before we can start, we need a hazmat report, without a hazmat report, Demolition Contractors can’t send out an estimator to your location to give a definite price of the deconstruction/demolition.
Step 2: Permits
We highly encourage you to contact your local municipality to learn what permits will be needed for your project. Each project and location is different and every municipality requires different permits before a project can be started.
Step 3: Contact Demolition Contractors
Then we can Google earth the accessibility and exact location of the house. Once we have the hazmat report Demolition Contractors
will arrange for one of our friendly estimators to arrange a site visit with our abatement contractors to get the very best estimate for the hazardous removal and the price of the deconstruction/demolition as well. This will generally take a few days to put the pricing together.
Step 4: Quote
Our friendly estimator will provide you with a quote that outlines what work will be completed and provide an estimate (our estimates are always very competitive!) From there you can obtain your permits from the city, have all your various services disconnected and move to the next and most exciting step!
Step 5: Let the demolition begin!
Work can begin. Once all the hazmat has been extracted from the site, Demolition Contractors will dispatch our crew to complete any hand work & then bring in the heavy equipment for the substantial demolition/deconstruction. Generally, if there are no unforeseen delays, we will have the job finished with a week.
Step 6: Clean up
Demolition Contractors will sort out the material from the project at the time of deconstruction/demolition on site and remove to the waste to the assorted facilities for landfill and recycling.
