We all know that babies are indulged in thumb sucking. It helps them calm the pain that is caused while they are teething. It is a very adorable and cute picturesque view to see babies do that. We cannot deny this! The real issue arises when the baby is not getting rid of that habit even after crossing the age of four. If you catch your child unable to quit on thumb sucking, there is a need for concern.

Thumb sucking in children after the age of four is proven to be dangerous as it is prone to alter the shape of the jaw and alignment of the teeth.
