Diego da Silva Costa is one of the most talented players in the world. Famous as Diego Costa, is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Spain national team.
Diego Costa – Early Life
He was born in Lagarto, Brazil on October 7, 1988. In 2013, he was given Spanish Citizenship and later became part of the Spain National Team.
He was invited by his uncle to work in his store (São Paulo). His uncle has connections in football and that’s how Diego began to play for Barcelona Esportivo Capela team, where he was trained professionally.
During under-18 Taça de São Paulo, Diego attracted the attention of renowned Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes, who offered him a contract at Braga. Although his father was against sending him to Europe and wanted him to join the nearby Associação Desportiva São Caetano, Diego was determined to take the opportunity.
