Although it is possible that the first samples could have been discovered as early as the 1950's, commercial mining of Zultanite did not begin until 2006.This name pays tribute to Zultanite®'s homeland and differentiates Zultanite® from non-gem quality diaspore mined prior to 2005, this material was often heavily included, poorly cut and not suitable for fine jewelry.Having specialized in Zultanite® for close to 10 years we have been able to create an unmatched catalogue of Zultanite® jewelry.
