Hey there! I want to tell you about the northest settlement in Russia with stable population. Notherer is only the military unit "Nagurskoe" whichnis situated on the Franz Josef Land. I will tell you about its infrastructure, how to get there and what can you see there.

Infrastructure

The settlement is divided into two parts - the continent and the island. Houses and other infrastructure are situated on the continent of Dikson. There is a school, a kindergarden, product shop, chemist's and a hospital. And there is only airport on the island. And an island and a continet are linked with an ice crossing.

History

Dikson began to develop from the island — September, 7 1915 "Dikson" radiostation existed and connected with "Isakogorskaya" radiostation. This day is a city day of Dikson. Already in 10 days the first 2 blocks of flats, sauna coalhouse were build. Soon the settlement was closed but then the place became the village again.

How to get there

It is very hard to get there — only once a week the flight from Norilsk "An-26 KrasAvia" flies there. However the flights are often canceled because of bleasard or fogg. But the way to the airport you also have to get to the continent. Weather it would be a snowmobile (in winter), or a motor boat, or a helicopter.
