What is DBS DAO?

DBS DAO is a community of multiple people from the world of cryptocurrency, in which everybody will get help to grow and not to get lost.

I chose this particular DAO using the advice of my friends, and I did not regret about my decision. It's probably the best community I've ever met. All my questions were responded in a friendly manner, everybody tried to help me regarding any topic I was interested in, you will have plenty of information for research and even more projects to work on. If you get helpers, you will hardly manage all the projects.

All crucial activity takes place in Discord, and it is not typical for private chats, which are usually located in Telegram. On the one hand, the advantage of this is the availability of real-life communication with the guys in the voice room. At the same time for some people, it can be a disadvantage as we do not log into Discord a lot from our cell phones. From my personal experience, I would like to say that Discord is even better, because nothing in it distracts me from my job and education.

Now let's move on to Discord itself:

The entrance room:

In this section there are general rules. Also, here you can get a role and set up notifications for certain channels you like. Additionally, you can also sign up for English classes, which we will discuss in detail later.

DAO has many areas: education, NFT, nodes, ambassador programs, testnets, English classes, a section with memes and even its own free Over-the-Counter OTC.

Further on are the announcement and communication sections

In the announcement section we specify the time of the calls, which take place several times a week usually in the evening. This keeps everybody updated and we record the calls for further listening.

In communication section the channels are arranged by topic (NFTs, ambassador programs, testnets, and nodes).

The voice chat looks like this

Usually there are always 2-3 buddies sitting in the voice chat, and it's nice to have an opportunity to visit them anytime and have a heart-to-heart talk as well as to ask for a piece of advice and probably even to do something together. I've found some very good friends here, so making friends in our DAO is not that hard)

Education

in general

As you understood, there is just a huge amount of useful information in the form of articles and video reviews. Most of all I like education channel, where team members leave their own (or other people's) articles not only on crypto, but on other general topics to improve your productivity. I can't site you examples as this information is confidential, but I've read them all (there are more than 25 articles and this is only in #education section).

Activities and split the cost

In the section with activities there are current airdrops, retrodrops, ido/ico's. In this section you can find your rating, get mutually subscribed with other community members in Twitter, learn how to manage multiple accounts, get a list of useful sites and useful news (which may influence the project in which you are currently working).

Since some projects require considerable financial investments (for example, lands of genopets), you can cooperate with other members and split the cost of a specific item, or together invest into a particular raffle. Right now, this section is just in the initial stage.

To follow section

In the partnerships section we raffle off the project bonuses for our members, in new projects section the admins describe interesting projects at an early stage, and in the findings section all participants can send something that seemed interesting to them.

NFT (my favourite section)

The NFT section is divided by networks, what is very convenient. Solana is the most active. I like that in the channels the news on NFT projects is made by people with a lot of experience (my favorite writer is Matveika). These people also give advice on getting whitelisted and better projects for minting / sale + general knowledge about NFT market (I find it especially useful).

Nodes

Nodes were a difficult topic for me as they constantly need to be updated. If you missed a piece of news and did not update you can get into trouble with your node. It is convenient here that you can get into the right section and see the news about your node. This is the advantage of Discord, because each project has a separate channel. If you have questions do not worry, in the chats you will get help to set up a node and take care of it.

Ambassador programs

Ambassador programs are divided by complexity and by project potential. It is not necessary to follow each project separately, as it is enough to buy a subscription in DBS DAO). Do not be afraid to get into ambassador programs, you will always get help from the participants in voice and ordinary chats, you will be advised how to start and what to do.

Testnets

This section is formed in the same easy to understand way as the section with the nodes and ambassador porgrams.

In the screenshots I showed only unread chats, I counted a total more than 100 projects in which you can participate, so there is enough work for everybody.

And in the and - English classes.

As working in crypto requires some hard skills, such as the knowledge of English, we have free English classes for beginners in our DAO. It's just like at school: lessons (calls), homework, guides, and chat.

Generally, it is all about the utility of DBS DAO. I joined the community about a month ago, and I don't regret about it at all. I have found a lot of nice acquaintances, plenty of useful information, and I think that after the first week with DBS DAO I got more value than the cost of my three - month subscription. You will see that the members of the team put all their creative energy into this project and try to do everything for their members. If you are lost in crypto and would like to find a good environment, you are welcome.
