Platforms Manager
Firevolt is an indie game development studio building premium co-op experiences for PC and consoles. Our portfolio spans titles like WheelMates and KingFish, with hundreds of thousands of wishlists each. We're a lean, fast-moving team operating across Europe, with an ambitious growth trajectory over the next few years.
We're looking for a Platforms Manager to own our relationships and technical/commercial execution across all major storefronts and console platforms.
What You'll Do?
- Own end-to-end platform management across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, including onboarding, certification, submissions, and ongoing compliance;
- Manage platform holder relationships, act as primary point of contact for account managers and partner teams;
- Coordinate release logistics: build submissions, age ratings, store page setup, patch/update cycles, and certification (TRC/TCR) requirements;
- Own Steam store presence optimization: store page structure, tagging, algorithmic visibility levers, wishlist-to-launch mechanics, regional pricing;
- Plan and execute platform-specific marketing beachheads (featuring pitches, front-page placement, seasonal sales, publisher/platform promotions);
- Coordinate crossplay, cross-progression, and platform-specific technical requirements with the dev team;
- Track platform-specific KPIs (wishlists, conversion, refund rates, regional performance) and report to leadership;
- Expand platform coverage over time, including Nintendo, Epic Games Store, and HeyBox;
- Stay current on platform policy changes, new program opportunities, and competitive/featuring trends.
What We're Looking For?
- 3+ years of experience managing platform relationships and launches for premium games on PC and console;
- Hands-on experience with Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox submission and certification processes (ID@Xbox, PlayStation Partners, etc.);
- Proven track record shipping and supporting live titles across multiple platforms (real launches, not just theory);
- Strong understanding of storefront mechanics: Steam algorithm, wishlist dynamics, regional pricing, discount strategy;
- Excellent cross-functional communication. You'll work closely with production, marketing, and leadership;
- Comfortable operating with autonomy in a small, fast-paced studio environment.
- Experience with Nintendo, Epic Games Store, or HeyBox (China distribution);
- Familiarity with co-op/multiplayer-specific platform requirements (crossplay, cross-save, matchmaking certification);
- Experience supporting indie titles through a full launch cycle, from wishlist campaign to post-launch sales events.
Why Join Firevolt?
- Work directly on titles with genuine market traction (hundreds of thousands of wishlists pre-launch);
- High-ownership role. You'll shape platform strategy, not just execute a checklist;
- Small, senior team with direct access to founders and fast decision-making;
- Multiple titles in the pipeline, meaning platform work compounds across a growing portfolio.
