Zeus is a liquidity protocol built on the Metis blockchain. It aims to provide a better trading experience and capital efficiency for DeFi users through the process of building its concentrated liquidity protocol and a range of partner functional modules on the Metis L2 blockchain.

Liquidity concentration means that the liquidity provider is inefficient in distributing liquidity evenly across all prices. Instead, assets are allocated to specific, individual price ranges in which active price action takes place. As in other models, all trading fees collected within a given custom trading range, fixed in the form of insolvent LP tokens, are distributed among all providers in proportion to the number of assets provided.
With this flexibility, liquidity providers can supply tokens to the pool in a variety of ranges that suit their market creation strategies and appetites, just like they would on a traditional exchange. Since fewer assets are required to maintain low LP slippage, this translates into improved capital efficiency and deeper liquidity for traders. But the best part is the increase in rewards for liquidity providers as a reflection of increased efficiency, while at the same time smoothing out the effects of non-permanent losses.
