The war in Ukraine has been going on for the 3rd week and it is not yet clear when it will end, and in the meantime, sanctions have begun to affect not only politicians and oligarchs, but also ordinary citizens.
Even “yesterday” Internet marketers worked with clients on different sites, connected them to new ones, but today almost everything has stopped.
Meta and Google imposed a ban on advertising activities on the territory of the Russian Federation and from the territory of the Russian Federation. Most of the small and medium-sized businesses from the Russian Federation were advertised on these sites. There are different ways to circumvent these prohibitions and launch advertising from the territory of the Russian Federation, but today's article is not about that.
The main question: What should Internet marketers who worked in the Russian Federation and on sites that are now under a temporary ban do now?
I see 2 ways to solve these difficulties. Each solution has its pros and cons.
The first way is to explore other Russian platforms for advertising.

If you have worked in the Facebook advertising account, then you can start working in VK, Tik Tok, my target. The marketing base is the same everywhere, you only need to spend 1-2 hours studying the interface of advertising cabinets.
Minimal loss of existing customers.
You can transfer existing customers to other sites so that they do not leave you.
Locks.
There is no threat that these sites will be blocked or sanctioned
Payment in rubles.
If you live in the Russian Federation and do not often travel abroad, this may not be a significant minus.
Increasing competition, overheating auctions.
A large percentage of advertisers who were previously advertised on sanctioned platforms will now flow into those available in the Russian Federation, which will certainly increase the cost of the results.
Dumping.
Some Internet marketers will now start dumping in order to get a client at any cost, which can lead to depreciation of labor and customers will begin to offer lower payment terms.
The second way to stay afloat is to work with foreign clients

By working on foreign markets, you are already competing with specialists around the world, not just your country or city. You must initially have a good level of professionalism in order to close foreign clients for transactions.
Knowledge of English.
This is a minus, but not significant. Without English, you will not be able to take on a big client, you will not be able to call up and make presentations, provide consulting services, but some clients can be closed in correspondence, and for this you can use improvised translation tools.
System bypass.
All of the above sites have recently not been working on the territory of the Russian Federation and you need to use software to bypass these restrictions. Be careful when working through a VPN with Upwork and Fiverr, they have algorithms that can recognize it, and then your account will be permanently banned. It is better to use VPS. Also, now from these sites you will not be able to withdraw money directly to your RF bank card, you need to have an account in a foreign bank or use workarounds and lose more%.
These are the main pros and cons that I have identified for myself, perhaps there are others, but for me they are secondary.
