Types of polyester yarn

POY POLYESTER: POY polyester yarn (Partially oriented filament) is also known as polyester pre-directed yarn. POY polyester is the first form of yarn made directly by polyester foil spinning. POY polyester is mainly used to manufacture yarn. POY polyester can be available in two luster: semi-dull and bright.

DTY polyester: DTY polyester (woven wire yarn) is obtained when POY polyester is rolled and pulled at the same time. The technical characteristics of DTY yarn can be shaped in a number of ways to make the yarn reasonable for its wide uses. DTY filaments can be in semi-dull, bright or triple-brightness depending on the type of filament regions. DTY polyester yarn can also be obtained in various colors by dyeing technique or by conventional dyeing.

FDY polyester: FDY polyester (fully drawing yarn) is also known as polyester filament yarn (PFY) or rotary drawing yarn (SDY). FDY can be woven or woven with any other yarn yarns to obtain different types of fabrics. FDY polyester filament is mainly available in 3 luster: Semi-dull (SD), Bright (BR) with a circular section and Triloble Bright (TBR) with triangular cross-sections. FDY polyester thread can also be rolled to make polyester embroidery thread widely used for sewing.
