Inflation hits: Gas cylinder rises again, prices rise by Rs 73.50

New Delhi: Gas cylinder prices have been hiked again amid rising prices. State-owned oil companies have hiked gas cylinder prices by Rs 73.5 per cylinder. The companies have only hiked commercial gas prices this month.

There, domestic cooking gas will be available at the old rate. In Delhi, the price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has gone up from Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,623 per cylinder. Prices of 14.2 kg gas cylinders will remain the same as last month.

In July, oil companies announced a 25.50 per cent hike in domestic gas cylinder prices. In the national capital, a 14.2-kg unsubsidised LPG cylinder costs Rs 834.50. It is Rs 834.50 per cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 861 in Kolkata and Rs 850.50 per cylinder in Chennai.
