Farmers protest against Anurag Thakur, police chanting slogans

Chandigarh: Union Minister Anurag Thakur today arrived in Chandigarh to launch the 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra'. He gave green signal to the procession from Himachal Bhawan, Sector-28 at 10 am. However, the BJP leaders had to face farmers' protest against Anurag Thakur .

Meanwhile, farmers' supporters protested against showing black flags to BJP leaders. Women were also present on the occasion. Chandigarh Police Arrest Protesting Farmers reached out to stop the farmers protesting against the Union Minister . Police suffered them to prevent slogans. Meanwhile, BJP workers also abused a woman.

BJP workers first snatched the flag from the woman chanting slogans against Anurag Thakur and then tried to slap her. Police also detained several farmers. It may be mentioned here that farmers across the country are protesting against the three agriculture laws issued by the central government. As a result, farmers in various places are constantly opposing BJP leaders and ministers.
