After Twitter, Rahul Gandhi's Facebook and Instagram accounts may now be blocked!
New Delhi : Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi's Twitter account was recently shut down and the Blue Tick was removed for some time, sparking an uproar. Rahul Gandhi says the Modi government does not allow him to speak in Parliament and blocks his account after he speaks on social media.
Rahul Gandhi also shared a graphics from his Instagram account in which the Twitter logo is tied with ropes and the caption reads' Digital grandfathering will not work. Amid the ongoing controversy with Twitter, the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has demanded action on Rahul Gandhi's Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The commission said that Rahul Gandhi had violated the Pokso Act by revealing the identity of the parents of the rape victim. Action should be taken against them in this case. The commission has written to Facebook and Instagram in this regard.
Earlier, it was only after the NCPCR that Twitter blocked Rahul Gandhi's account and the accounts of several other Congress leaders. In fact, Rahul Gandhi had met the family members of the alleged rape victim.
And their pictures were shared on social media. Rahul Gandhi's account was blocked after the NCPCR complained to Twitter about revealing the identity of the rape victim.
