·         It’s the employer who bears all expenses for the work permit, medical testing, Emirates ID and UAE Residency Visa.

·         Once you get the visa, you can sponsor your family members as dependents to bring them along with you to the country.

There are certain things that you need to attend seriously.

·         If you are visiting the country for touring purpose, you can get the work permit to UAE when you exit the neighbouring or home country.

·         Some airlines, like Air Arabia and Fly Dubai, offer this “visa run” facility on the way to Dubai-Oman-Dubai.

·         Alternatively, you can opt-in the change of status option while being inside the country through a “Changed Status” process. It is governed by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDFRA) of the Emirate where the company is located. It works with the federal authority MoHRE.

·         There are some cases of NRIs being hired from overseas. The MoHRE and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation have their setups outside the UAE. These are wherefrom the employees can know about their rights, duties, terms and conditions of employment and all privileges that they are likely to have. It is all available in the native language to make it understandable.

It ensures a contractual agreement between employers and employees from India, preventing any frauds to replace job offers at the time of arrival of the employee in the UAE.

So, it is better to ask the one who has been assisting NRIs and natives in immigration for employment abroad.
