Fantasy.top for the littlest ones
Fantasy is a very complex project with a lot of mechanics and variables, so I won't be able to tell you everything I know in one post, but I don't have such a goal, just the basics today
Why now? Because now everyone has the opportunity to experience the game for free and understand whether you like this genre or not and whether you are ready to invest time, money and effort in it. Such an opportunity appeared thanks to free weekly tactics, about it will be below
What is fantasy - definition from ChatGPT
Fantasy on Twitter is a game in which players create virtual teams of real-life Influencers (I'll call them heroes from here on). Users collect hero cards, and these cards earn points based on Twitter activity and interactions such as likes, retweets, etc. The one with the team of heroes that earns the most points for their posts and social media activities over the duration of the tournament wins
Each hero has a certain number of stars, which depends on their performance during the week:
The number of stars is updated every week after the main tournament, the number of points changes constantly
Each card has 4 degrees of rarity: common - 1x point multiplier, rare - 1.5x, epic - 2x, legendary - 2.5x. You can craft a rare by using 5 common versions of the same hero. Getting other rarities works on the same way
With the basics out of the way, let's move on to "gameplay" and game modes
Our main gameplay, if I may say so, is an endless reading of Twitter - we try to understand who is in what condition: who went on vacation, who can grow in the near future (for example, our hero has a podcast to be released next week with a famous personality, from here we can assume that in the next tournament this hero will score more points than usual and we can buy it now for a flip or keep it for the tournament) If someone goes on vacation and we found out about it faster than the rest, the smart will sell such a card and buy back it closer to the tournament
The second kind of gameplay is just trading on the market, a couple of ideas I described above, but besides that sometimes you can snatch a good card on bid and immediately sell it for 20-30% more expensive
Activities
There are two types of tournaments in the game - Main and Tactics
Main
Mains are held once a week - Monday through Thursday. You need at least 5 cards to participate. There are different leagues - they differ in rewards and conditions for teams. For example, in the elite league there are no restrictions, but in the bronze league you can only use Common cards, and the sum of stars of the whole team cannot exceed 18. That way you don't have to fight whales who have epic and legendary versions of the best cards until you're ready for it
The prizes include eth (for the highest places), cards (that's what we're after), fanpoints (for them we can vote to kick certain heroes out of the game, and we're also waiting for a token drop (no)), stars (they promise to launch roulette, but we're waiting for now) and blast gold (we're waiting for a blast token next June))
Tactics - there's no clear schedule here yet, sometimes they run a few in a day, sometimes none. You don't need cards to play, but you do need a ticket, which costs 20 dollars. You are given a choice of 18 cards (3 of each star rating) and 5 minutes to build a deck of 5 cards with a total rating of no more than 24 stars. The tournament lasts 24 hours, you have to get at least in the top 50% to not lose money. There are different formats for the distribution of rewards and the cost of entry (for example, the price of entry is not 1 ticket, but 10, but the rewards are bigger) But now we are not interested in this, but what is fascinating is this:
These tactics, as I said above, are a great opportunity to experience the game for free. Over time, you will learn to recognize the characters by sight and understand at once approximately who can score how many points you can get
All you need is a Twitter account and 0.001 eth in blast, which you will need to send to a freshly created fantasy wallet to activate it
It's hard to seriously count on prizes, because there are a lot of participants (>10k), and few prizes (for the top 150 you get a ticket for paid tactics, and for the top 3 you get eth), but I don't consider free tactics as farming, but only as an entrance for beginners, through which you can start farming on mains and on the market
What we have in the end - really interesting and profitable game, with not the easiest entry for beginners, but if you figure it out it's 100% worth it
