Shades: Update 1.7.0

Hi everyone, today we are happy to announce the release of the ‘Possessed by the Past’ event as part of version 1.7.0! In this post, we will tell you what has changed in the game and what to expect next.

New Event

'Possessed by the Past'

Yeong-Hui is an orphan who knows nothing about her past, having learnt how to fight from her older sister. Her monotonous and aimless life changes when she meets an unusual old woman....

Special gameplay

Yeong-Hui does not use weapons. In this unique event, you can equip one of two fighting styles instead - Breath of the Wind or Qi Pulse. Will your Yeong-Hui charge crushing blows with qi energy or subdue wind currents? It's up to you!

The starting chain of quests

Yes, Shadow has defeated the Titan, but now he has much to learn anew. And who can help him if not Sensei? He has prepared a series of quests that will help newcomers to learn more about our game, and experienced players to see their own power and get the rewards they deserve!

New Allies

The starting quest chain and the new event give players the opportunity to get two allies at once - Yeong-Hui and Sensei.
To obtain Yeong-Hui, complete the ‘Possessed by the Past’ event
Yeong-Hui is an attack orientated ally. She is suitable for those who like to use not only weapons but also kicks.
To get Sensei, complete his quest chain.
Sensei is a balanced ally who is good in both attack and defence. He is ideal for those who are new to the game, as well as those who frequently change their combat tactics.

1. Bastion shields in Act III of the story have been redesigned

2. Added two new cyberninja enemies to Act IV of the story

3. Fixed incorrect display of some dialogues after a player is defeated.

What's Next?

Winter is the time for adventure!

In December, you'll find the 'Paths in the Snow' event, a story of Kanade, who will become your ally if you successfully complete it.
In addition, you will be challenged by a new special enemy, and the fight against them will be long and difficult... like a marathon.

Content updates and additions

In the coming months, we're planning several content updates related to in-game artwork, additional dialogue, avatar edits, and new visuals.
