Shades: version 1.8.0 and "Paths in the Snow" event

Hi everyone! Today we are happy to announce the release of version 1.8.0 and the return of the Paths in the Snow event! In this post, we'll tell you what's changed in the game and what to expect next.

Just like last year, you'll be playing as Kanade, a girl who has to gather her family around the holiday table at the request of her grandmother Sakura. The world around her, however, is full of danger, and Kanade's journey will not be an easy walk!

Compared to last year, we've made a few important changes to the balance of the event:

Holly's Bodyguard: invulnerability has been removed from the grenade throw animation, and the animation itself has been slowed down. Hitting the bodyguard during this attack is considered a block hit.
Holly: removed the invulnerability from the Hail of Arrows animation.
Holly: added two new abilities (Flash Grenade and Flash Kunai).
Holly: when trapped in a corner, sometimes teleports away from the player.
Flauros' Bodyguard: reduced radius and blast damage. Blast no longer ignores Invulnerability status

Other changes

Added new quest marathons with valuable rewards.
Added new unique bosses in ‘Duel’.
Updated the rotation of opponents and locations of the ‘Duel’ mode.
Improved the work of the shade generator for ’Duels‘: now the player should not get unnecessary shades
Integration of YooMoney payment system.
Optimisation of the client and device load.
Paths in the Snow’ event: improved locations
Event ‘Breath of Death’: changed enemy Fist of Flame: optimised performance, reduced damage, fixed hit detection (attacks on it are read more correctly).
'Lost in Translation' event: boss and special enemy updated
Act IV Final Boss: added an ability that activates when the boss is cornered.
Corrected shade names that contained bugs
Fixed an invisibility bug when combining Legendary Daisho super strike and Protective Impulse magic

In the first half of January, you'll have a new marathon with a unique opponent. Perhaps, if you have already met him, if you have played other Shadow Fight games...
