Shadow Fight 3 - Epilogue
It’s been a long 5-year journey and we’ve been through it with you. Congratulations on completing the main Shadow Fight 3 storyline!
In this article, we want to share our plans for the future and tell you about the future development direction for Shadow Fight 3.
Up until now, our main priority has been the main storyline of Shadow Fight 3 world. The release of new chapters has alternated with new modes and other improvements to the game.
As we finished the main storyline, we’ll focus on two new areas that we couldn’t pay enough attention to before:
Mechanics rework
In previous digests we have often written about plans to rework certain aspects of the game that we felt were outdated or wrong. Some of the changes we announced earlier: the system of rarities and progression, the system of improving and getting new items / perks (such as the Raven set), the store, the character customization (items that are not included in the current sets). Others are still in the discussion or concept stage.
The completion of the main Shadow Fight 3 storyline means we can finally focus on making these plans a reality. We are going to bring them to reality within the next six months.
Developing the social aspect of the game
The next stage of Shadow Fight 3 development will be the social mechanics.
Six months ago we made our first steps in this area with the release of the Raids mode. While developing the last chapter of the story, we were able to get enough feedback on this mode - and now we have a much better understanding of the direction we want to take Shadow Fight 3 in.
We’ll release our first major social update in the summer of 2023: it will include changes to Raids mode, new mechanics and Clans, and other various social mechanics (both for groups of players and single players) - keep an eye on the news at the beginning of next year!
The future of the game’s story
We realize that story is one of the key aspects of the game, so there are definitely some amazing new adventures waiting for you!
Shadow Fight 3 main story has become a bridge between Shadow Fight 2 and Shadow Fight: Arena. It opens the veil to a huge world full of interesting events and characters, but, of course, it doesn’t reveal that world to its fullest extent. So we have as many as two plot directions that we plan to develop.
Adventures, the first of which will be available starting on 30.11.22, will replace the story chapters. There you will learn a lot about the past, present and future of the Shadow Fight 3 world and its characters.
The second direction of the story will be the Void. You already got your first impression of it in Raids mode, but its history and events have been out of your reach so far. In the not-too-distant future, you’ll get a chance to explore the Void and take part in its amazing story, which unites all the games of the Shadow Fight universe!
We also plan to add the opportunity to replay your favorite story chapters in the future. However, this feature will be available only in 2023.
Conclusion
We expect the next year to be very busy: together with you, we will be able to implement our plans and open a new chapter in the Shadow Fight 3 story.
