Shadow Fight 3's 7th anniversary! Article 3 - 1.41

Hello everyone!
Welcome to the third article in our series dedicated to the 7th anniversary of Shadow Fight 3

First of all, we’d like to apologize for the delayed release of this article. We’re back on track and will do our best to continue delighting you with regular Friday updates.

In the previous installments, we shared detailed insights about what’s coming in version 1.40.0, which will be released this week. Today, it’s time to look ahead and reveal some plans for version 1.41.0, scheduled for early next year. But before we dive into the future, let’s quickly recap what’s still in store for you by the end of this year:

  • Detailed Description of Raid Boss Mechanics

We’re introducing a new feature to help you better understand raid bosses' abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. This will allow you to plan your strategy and prepare for battle, increasing your chances of victory even against the most challenging foes.

  • Part Two of the Reworked Shop

Based on your feedback and analysis of the initial shop updates, we’re continuing to refine and expand it. The shop will now include a variety of items that weren’t previously available, such as skins and aspects.

  • Minor Update to Ranked Duels

We’re aware of the current issues affecting high-ranked matches in Ranked Duels and will be working to resolve them.

  • Release of a New Exclusive Set

We’ll do our best to delight you with a festive New Year’s atmosphere.

  • The New Event System

For the first time, you’ll experience our revamped event system, the result of dedicated efforts to enhance your gameplay experience. Events will be more diverse, exciting, and immersive, offering deeper engagement in both gameplay and story.

Now, let’s dive into the details of version 1.41.0.

Version 1.41.0

This version is scheduled for release early next year. While one part of the team will focus on large-scale tasks, which we’ll share with you in the next article, another team will work on an update aimed at improving the gameplay experience, player feedback, and combat system.

What we plan to implement in 1.41.0:

  1. Player Interaction System
  2. Revamp of In-Game Notification System
  3. Referral System Improvements
  4. Faction Wars Update

Let's dive deeper into each point:

Player Interaction System

Next year in the Shadow Fight 3 could be called the year of the community.

The past year has shown us that to continue creating a truly great game, it's not enough to simply listen to players. We need to establish direct communication to understand you better and respond to your needs on time.

The first step will be the player interaction system. Initially, it will include two main aspects. The first one is feedback.

Previously, feedback was collected through media and surveys on external platforms. However, this approach was not effective enough: surveys were conducted irregularly, reached a limited audience, and did not always help identify the truly important issues for players.

To improve this process, we are introducing an in-game survey system.

Your feedback on the new adventure? Feedback on changes in events or duels? Voting for the next set or style? Collecting bug reports? Or perhaps even hosting social events?

We plan to launch in-game surveys regularly. Your participation in these surveys will not go unnoticed: everyone who helps us improve the game will receive small but pleasant rewards.

The second aspect is improving direct communication with players. We want to create a convenient way to share important information both from us to you and from you to us. We will start by launching a player communication system.

With the communication system, we will share our plans for the game's development, host giveaways, reward participation in social activities, and even surprise you with gifts on important dates for the world of Shadow Fight.

Overhaul of the In-Game Notification System

The next step will be the overhaul of the notification system. Currently, there are too many notifications: store offers, informational messages, and event alerts. Their volume sometimes makes it hard to focus on the truly important details.

Before the release of version 1.42.0, we will reduce the number of notifications, leaving only the information that will truly be useful and interesting to you.

Later, we plan to add a new news interface so you can easily track everything happening in the game without excessive distracting notifications, and customize your notification preferences.

Improvement of the Referral System

The referral system currently plays an important role in allowing more players to discover the world of Shadow Fight 3 through the community's activity.
We understand its significance and want to make it even more accessible and user-friendly.
As part of the update, we plan to redesign the referral system interface to make the invitation process simpler and more intuitive. Additionally, the rules and reward system will be adjusted.
Now, both the inviter and the invited players will receive more significant bonuses, making participation in the referral program even more appealing.
We are confident that these changes will not only strengthen the connections between players but also help new players get up to speed faster in the game.

Faction Wars Update

It has been a year since the launch of Faction Wars. The start was successful, but soon problems arose that would require too many resources to address, and we wanted to focus on social systems instead. Now that the work on these systems is complete, we are returning to Faction Wars. We plan to update the system, infuse it with new energy, and make it even more engaging for all players.
That being said, this update might be delayed until version 1.42.0, and we will be ready to provide details once we are confident in its implementation.
We will share the goals for this Faction Wars update after the New Year.

Conclusion

These are all our plans for the beginning of 2025.
As we’ve already mentioned, the upcoming year will be the year of community for us. We aim to improve not only the communication between players and the development team but also to strengthen the connection between players themselves, both within the game and outside of it.
It’s important that every player feels how they influence the development of the game and the contribution they make, as well as being able to easily find like-minded individuals, whether through in-game mechanics or external communities.

On December 6th, we’ll meet again to share answers to your questions about the story of Shadow Fight 3.

Keep Fighting!
