Season awards, events and in-game improvements.
First of all, let’s talk about season rewards, and more specifically why they were decreased. Our goal was simple - we wanted to make the game a bit more dynamic and to give rewards more often. In order to achieve that, we reduced the season’s duration to 1 week. As an outcome - the reward has become smaller (by 45% or so). If we take a wider view, we will see that the total reward for two weeks (in case the player joins every season’s race) in a row became slightly bigger than before. Unfortunately, we’ve noticed some users using bots to gain a higher level or “farm” coins. Due to the fact that we consider the possibility of awarding the players for getting into TOP 100 we had to impose a few restrictions regarding the season’s reward. It was intended to make the life of the gamers, who’s using dirty tricks to play, a little more difficult. Receiving a coin reward for “multipliers” in duels such as head hits etc. is now limited to 10 wins per day.
And now a few words about Shadow energy. During our Q&A session on our Telegram channel we mentioned that we are planning to start giving MORE Shadow energy for item upgrades in the next two months. At the moment, we’re testing that balance improvement. New Shadow energy offers at our shop are not related to the changes described above.
Next - the events and their reboots. Some of the players do like the new events, some of them love the old ones and want to gather all the set pieces they’ve missed. That is the reason why we alternate them. It also gives us precious time to create content for the new chapters. The next “reboot” event will be the well-known “Steel Sakura” which will be re-launched on September 3rd.
And now - the dessert! Starting this September we also begin to test (and to release it gradually) some features that were highlighted on our Telegram channel. The first ones are Regular Quests and Daily Rewards for logging into the game. Our development teams are now focused on that features. This is the reason why we had to delay the release of the “archived items” booster packs we promised before. But - they will definitely appear in one of the upcoming updates. Stay tuned!
