Shadow Fight 3 FAQ (Facebook comments edition #2)

Why you never reward winning streaks?

The reason is the winning series duration differs from player to player. A gap between them is quite big. So we decided to move these rewards to a place where every player could get one. E.g. chests, duel rewards (coins) etc.

Are you going to add the Eclipse Mode (like in Shadow fight 2) where we can replay all the memorable fights from the story campaign?

When the main story campaign comes to an end we plan to add a so-called New Game+ mode. Follow the news!

I can purchase rare and epic items with coins. And that's fine. But why is the price for the rest of the items (legendary gear, for example) in gems only?

You CAN buy a legendary item with coins. Although the odds you’ll get one at the store are lower. The unique items are currently available during the events or as a special offer only.

What will be the future of Shadow Fight 3 after 7.2 and PvP mode? The boss modes will probably come with Shadow Fight Arena. So what's left in the current Shadow Fight 3? Bots?

We will tease new modes closer to the 7.2 release, but let's say we plan to add PvP fights and some multiplayer modes after the main story will end.

Is there a chance you'll add an option to switch between accounts?

Your game progress is linked to your Google/iOS account. We do not plan to change it, because it’s the most understandable and dependable way of saving the progress for the players so far.

Are you planning to launch a gem marathon, 'cause it would be awesome if we had the chance to get some once in a while…

Yup, we’re testing some ideas. You will see something new in the coming months.

Why did you choose to make Shadow appear as a villain in Shadow Fight 3? What was the reason for that?

Shadow decides his fate for himself, like any other character with a long backstory. When it comes to Shadow, it's not a matter of "what we want Shadow to do?", it's more like "what would Shadow do after everything he'd been through?"

May I ask how many developers are working on Shadow Fight 3 compared to Shadow Fight Arena at the moment.

Shadow Fight 3 is currently being developed very actively. And there’s Shadow Fight Arena which is making its first steps, so the teams size ratio is about 5:1. Although some SF3 team members are making their part of the job for the new game as well, because it shares the animation engine, netcode and some assets (partially) with the “mother project.”
