There is no information about investors and funding rounds yet. According to many sources, angel investors Jaynti Kanani (Founder of Polygon), Kim Hee-sun (Hashed), Dan Romero (Binance)invested in the project.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to access and use the ZetaChain test network
Step 1: Go the ZetaLabs website.
Step 2: Once you get there you have to connect your Twitter account. Click on "Verify with Twitter"
Step 3: Once we have connected our Twitter and have been verified, we need to connect our wallet. Click on “Connect Wallet” in the upper right corner. After you need to verify the wallet. To do this, go to the “Leaderboard” section, click on the “Confirm Wallet” button and confirm the signature request in the wallet. Once connected and confirmed, you will be able to view your account details.
Step 4: Connect to the ZetaChain test network (Goerli, BSC Testnet, Polygon Mumbai) by selecting it from upper right corner.
If you have not added it to your wallet before, you will receive a message from Metamask. You should approve this site to add a network. This will allow this network to be used within MetaMask.
And then click on "Switch network".
Step 5: Ok, now we need to get test tokens for swaps.
In order to get test tokens, go to the faucet:

Get registered, еnter the wallet address and get tokens.
Or you can use the built-in faucet feature.Then we go to the “Get Zeta” section, where we can get the test tokens needed for future testing. Click “Request Assets”.
Another option is an additional faucet in the project’s Discord Server, in the zeta-faucet channel, you can it use by sending a command in the following format: “zeta faucet drip *wallet address*”
Then you will see the confirmation. You can request tokens once every 24 hours.
Step 6: After receiving the test tokens, we can go further to the “Swap” section. Just click "Try Swapping".
Step 7: Here we will need to perform transactions. First, we select the network and the token we want to exchange, then we select the network and the token we want to receive in exchange. Then specify the quantity and click “Review Order”.
Step 8: Next, we confirm the transaction with the “Allow ZETA transfer” button and confirm the transaction in the wallet.
Step 9: We have now allowed ZetaChain to interact with our wallet. Now click “Swap” and re-confirm our transaction in MetaMask.
We wait a while and it’s ready: The transaction has passed, you have received 7000 Zeta points
