A4/SPEXY

Dear community members,

Today, we are pleased to share the results of the AMA session that took place in the A4 vol4 chat. Our document includes:

  1. Key Points from the AMA Session: We discussed current achievements and challenges ahead of us.
  2. Project's Future Vision: We explored the project's strategy and development directions, emphasising market positioning.
  3. Upcoming Changes: Key aspects of upcoming changes were highlighted, including rebranding and technical updates.
  4. Rationale for Changes: We emphasised why each change is considered necessary for the project's progress and improvement.

We also addressed all the questions.

First of all, the A4.finance and SPEXY projects will be reimagined through the rebranding process. By rebranding, we mean a complete change in the brand style, name, description, and other key brand aspects. However, our main mission will remain unchanged. Regarding the reasons for these changes, the main factor was the inability to install our wallet through the App Store and Google Play due to its removal from these app stores.

Brief Overview of Changes:

  • Separation of the SPEXY game and wallet
  • Changes in tokenomics
  • Main source of revenue: fees for crypto operations and cryptocurrency staking

Answers to Questions:

  1. What specifically dissatisfied the team during the development of the A4 project?
During the development of the A4 project, everything was going well until the emergence of SPEXY and the beginning of banning issues. Many resources - financial, time, psychological, emotional, and human - were spent, and at a certain point, it became clear that further investment in the project under the current brand did not make sense. The team realized that the project could not be successfully unblocked in app stores.
  2. Is there a connection with the pauses in the staking contract?
The question is posed incorrectly because while there is a pause in the staking contract, we are adding coins to it and plan to add more to prevent any negative impact on current token holders due to the end of staking. All rewards accumulated by the team's wallet have already been transferred to the staking fund, and we will add additional funds to ensure a smooth and adequate completion of the process.
  3. What will happen if everyone starts exiting the project now and the token price crashes?
Market volatility is always present: some exit, others enter. We need to be realistic - considering the functioning of exchanges like PancakeSwap, it is not possible to crash the A4 token price to zero due to a lack of token volume.
  4. Has work on the new wallet started a long time ago?
Yes, work on the new wallet started a long time ago. The first wallet tests were conducted in August. We were aware then that significant changes would soon occur, and everything happened exactly as anticipated.
  5. Why didn't you reveal all the details immediately?
The reason is that the final plan of action was not approved. We made attempts to restore A4's availability on app services, but they were unsuccessful. Only now we have come to the conclusion that further attempts are futile and have decided to disclose all the details.
  6. Will there be a lock for holders of the previous A4 token?
The question of a lock for A4 token holders is currently actively discussed. The idea of giving holders a choice is being considered: either receiving new tokens with a certain fee or participating in the vesting program (token freezing) with the possibility of receiving a larger number of tokens. This approach is aimed at reducing potential sales pressure and, consequently, the price.
  7. What benefits can A4 IDO participants expect after the hard fork?
After the hard fork, various mechanisms may be offered to them as advantages, stimulating them to stay with the project and support it. Possible options may include special vesting conditions, bonuses, or other forms of loyalty, which will be determined and announced by the project developers later.
  8. Will there be staking? Airdrops?
In the new project concept, staking in the form it existed in A4 will not be implemented. However, airdrops, which are free distributions of new tokens among the community or a specific group of holders, are planned.
  9. How significantly will the roadmap change in the new project?
The roadmap of the new project will reflect a realistic and pragmatic approach. It will focus on preserving the business model that is vital for the sustainable development of the project and will avoid the development of features and services that do not provide real value. The goal is to create value for users, rather than solely pursuing profits.
  10. What are the development priorities for the project after the hard fork?
The development priorities for the project include creating clear and understandable roadmaps, so that community members can easily track progress and understand the direction in which the project is heading. This will ensure transparency and foster trust within the community.
  11. Will there be monetisation, and how will it work? The project is planned to be monetised through various methods. Specific monetisation strategies will be discussed and detailed in upcoming publications and during Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions.
  12. How can users earn? Users will be able to earn through various mechanisms, such as trading, cryptocurrency staking, participating in farming, or by receiving rewards for engaging in specific activities within the project.
  13. How is the new project related to the SPEXY project? SPEXY is part of the ecosystem and will be integrated into the new project. The team aims to bring SPEXY to a state that aligns with the initial plan and promises, demonstrating their honesty and commitment to SPEXY holders.
  14. Does the team plan to focus solely on the development of the new project and not involve third-party companies? Yes, the team plans to focus on internal development of the new project, which will contribute to closer integration and synergy within the project. The absence of third-party companies in the development process can also help maintain the confidentiality and security of the project.
  15. Where do you plan to get funding for further development and advertising campaign? The advertising campaign and development will be financed not through the monetisation of existing funds, but rather through attracting external funding. This may include investments from private investors, venture financing, or other sources of funding specifically targeted for the development and promotion of the new project.
  16. Why did you decide to resort to foundations in the new project instead of going straight to A4? The project team has concluded that additional resources and support are needed for scaling and achieving a certain level of project development, which can be provided by venture funds. Using foundations can also add additional creditworthiness to the project and help in creating strategic partnerships. In the case of A4, the desire to maintain complete independence and control over the project's development was likely more prioritised than attracting external investments.
  17. How much time will pass from the snapshot to the token distribution? The exact time between the snapshot and token distribution is not disclosed to exclude the possibility of market manipulation. Notification of the snapshot will be given after it takes place, which is a standard practice to prevent speculative actions and ensure fairness in the process.
  18. What utility functions are planned for the new token? Details about the utility functions of the new token have not been disclosed yet. This is done to prevent the creation of counterfeit tokens and to preserve the competitive advantage of the project. The utility functions will be described in detail later, and they will be a key aspect of the new token, adding value for its users.
  19. Is there a possibility that the same people who filed a complaint against the project with the regulator will do it again? And is there an understanding of how to deal with this? The project is taking steps to reduce the risk of repeat blocking by changing the way SPEXY is integrated so that the previous issues are not repeated. We plan to limit the functionality in the new wallet to exclude the possibility of depositing funds into SPEXY, leaving only the withdrawal option. This will minimize the likelihood of blocking, as the grounds for complaints will be eliminated.
  20. Will the ban policy in the main chats change? The ban policy in the chats will continue to focus on removing messages that contain unsubstantiated accusations against the project (such as calling it a "scam") without any justification. Such actions are taken to protect the project's reputation and prevent the spread of potentially false information among users.
  21. What is the philosophy of the new project? The philosophy of the new project lies not in competing for existing cryptocurrency users, but in attracting new users from the "web 2.0" world, thereby expanding the ecosystem and showcasing the full range of possibilities offered by the cryptocurrency world. The project aims to demonstrate that cryptocurrencies are not just an investment tool, but also a means of payment, a way to store digital art, and a platform for decentralised smart contracts usage.
