What you need to know to stake your AZTEC tokens.
1. Make sure you have at least 200,000 AZTEC
Only users with 200,000+ tokens can stake and earn block rewards. Staking and delegation are not supported with smaller amounts. You need to deposit your tokens through Aztec’s official dashboard. After that, you can either set up your own sequencer node (self-staking) or delegate your stake to a third-party operator such as STAKEME.
At the moment, you cannot stake less than 200,000 AZTEC — the system does not yet support fractional staking. If you have less than the minimum amount, you won’t be able to participate in staking.
And staked tokens are more than just a deposit. They help protect the network from spam and malicious actors. If a validator violates the rules, they risk losing part of their tokens due to Aztec’s slashing mechanism.
2. Connect your Token Vault to the staking dashboard
1. Go to the official Aztec staking dashboard.
2. Connect your Ethereum wallet or your Token Vault — the one that holds your AZTEC tokens. Public sale participants received a Token Vault to securely store their tokens until TGE.
3. Then choose one of the options:
• Delegate your stake to a third-party operator (such as STAKEME or another validator),
• Or run your own sequencer.
Keep an eye on the network status and the validator set. Once the validator queue drops below 500 and block production begins, your stake will start securing the network, and you’ll become eligible for block rewards.
1. Even if you have 200,000+ tokens, they can only be withdrawn after TGE. Until then, they remain locked in the Token Vault.
Fractional staking (less than 200,000 AZTEC) is not supported yet, though it’s expected that third-party projects may introduce this option in the future.
By delegating to STAKEME, you get:
• An experienced validator team
• Stable performance and high uptime
• Proprietary Web3 monitoring tools
• Extensive experience across 30+ networks
With the growing interest in Aztec, the role of reliable validators is becoming increasingly important. STAKEME provides a robust infrastructure and transparent conditions for all delegators. Delegate to us and become part of the future of private blockchains.
