The STON.fi exchange keeps getting better and safer!
In the latest update, a new feature has been introduced — the Trust Score token reliability rating, which has made the platform even more secure. Now users can make more informed decisions when purchasing tokens.

What is Trust Score?

Trust Score is a percentage indicator that evaluates the reliability of tokens traded on STON.fi. It is based on DYOR algorithms, which analyze publicly available data to provide users with a simple and convenient way to check a token’s safety before making a purchase. This trust rating is displayed when you attempt to exchange tokens on STON.fi (see the image below).

As we can see in the image above, the token $STON has a Trust Score of 100%. This means the token is reliable and trustworthy. However, token ratings can sometimes be lower (see the image below).

Regardless of whether a token’s rating is high or low, it’s always essential to conduct your own analysis before making a purchase, as you are solely responsible for your finances. The Trust Score is just one of the tools to help evaluate a token.

How is the Trust Score calculated?

The Trust Score is determined using algorithms that analyze both on-chain and off-chain data. It processes and evaluates various parameters to assess the reliability and behavior of a token. Key factors include:

Trading volume analysis: Evaluates the overall trading volume of the token.
Price trends: Examines token price changes over different periods, including stability, volatility, and growth or decline dynamics.
Minting and issuance: Studies the possibilities for minting new tokens, their quantity, and issuance conditions to identify potential risks associated with supply inflation.
On-chain data: Analyzes blockchain metrics such as transaction activity, the number of unique users, and the volume of token movements between wallets.
Off-chain data: Includes community activity, news mentions, platform ratings where the token is traded, and other external information.
