🔐 Cursor — Login Guide

Please read this instruction carefully before logging in.

🔑 Login Details You Received

You were provided with:

• Email address
• Email password
  (also used for 2FA email verification if required)
• Cursor account password
  (this is NOT the email password)

⚠️ Important — Read This First

👉 You do NOT need to log in to the email in most cases.

If Cursor asks for an email verification code, this is normal.

What to do if a code is requested:

1. Click Back
2. Choose Log in / Sign in again
3. Re-enter:
• Email address
• Cursor account password
4. In most cases, login will work without entering any code

➡️ Only if login still fails, then log in to the email and get the code.

1️⃣ Log In to Cursor

1. Open the official website:

2. Click Log in / Sign in
3. Choose Login with email
4. Enter:
• Email address
• Cursor account password (NOT the email password)
5. If a code is requested, follow the instructions above

2️⃣ Log In to Email (Only If Needed)

⚠️ Do this step only if Cursor does not let you log in.

1. Open:
   👉 https://outlook.com
2. Log in using:
• Email address
• Email password
3. Check for the verification code and complete login

❗ Do NOT change the email password.

✅ Done

• Cursor account is active
• Subscription is enabled
• You can start working immediately
