In the past few weeks we've observed a surge in fraudulent accounts claiming to be Blockchain.com. They are asking for account information and funds -- but we will never ask for sensitive account information on social media. Here are some tips to stay safe:
*Be skeptical of communications about your account that don’t take place in the Wallet, Exchange, or in a support request.
*Beware phishing emails and social media handles that are not from Blockchain.com or the above social media accounts.
*Write down your backup phrase and don’t share it with anyone.
*Enable Two-Factor Authentication on your account.
*Make sure you have a unique password that doesn’t match passwords from any other site.
*Don't call any support numbers found on search engines.
*When in doubt, visit support.blockchain.com to submit a help request.
