Monetizing Your Telegram Channel: A Guide to Crypto Bot Subscriptions

Telegram, with its numerous channels and groups, has been known as a popular platform for sharing content and building communities for quite some time now. And if you are the owner of a Telegram channel or group, you have probably thought about turning your passion for blogging into a lucrative source of income.

Once a new user subscribes to your private Telegram channel or group, they are automatically granted access to your content. And you, as the owner of a channel or group will automatically receive funds to your @CryptoBot wallet.

In case the subscription expires, the user is automatically deleted from the channel (or group), unless they extend the subscription.

Connecting a Private Telegram Channel or Group

To start with, find the @CryptoBot bot in Telegram search. Once done, tap on the Subscriptions → Connect and follow the instructions:

Step 1. Open your private Telegram channel or group, tap on the Administrators tab, and add the @CryptoBot bot to the list of your Admins with permission to invite and ban members enabled.

Step 2. If you are connecting a channel, forward any post from your channel to @CryptoBot. If you are connecting a group, then send the /getid command to your group. Then forward the message with the chat ID to @CryptoBot.

In addition to connecting a channel, you can connect its linked group to @CryptoBot. Members of the linked group will be automatically removed from it after their subscription to the channel expires.

To connect a linked group, go to Subscriptions → My channels, select your channel, click Linked group: OFF, then follow the instructions in the chat window.

Setting Up Subscription Plans

Now that you've connected your channel or group to @CryptoBot, it’s time to set up a basic subscription plan. To do that, tap Create Subscription Plan and set up subscription parameters:

Interval: Determine billing frequency for your subscription plan. It can be anything, starting from monthly billing to annual one.

Paying with: Subscribers can be billed in any coin of their choice - BTC, ETH, TON, USDT, BUSD, USDC or BNB. You can choose either one or several coins.

Price: Determine competitive subscription price based on the quality of your content and the value provided by your channel or group. The minimum subscription price is $1 per month. The maximum price is $5⁠ ⁠000 per month.

Note: A 5% Crypto Bot commission fee is automatically included in the subscription price.

Once done, tap the Create Plan button.

To add an additional subscription plan for your connected channel or group, go to Subscriptions → My Channels, choose a channel or group, then choose Edit Subscription Plans → Create Plan.

Tap on the name of the corresponding plan in order to manage it: you can archive the plan, block its renewal or delete it, as well as set up a special offer within the plan.

Setting Up Special Offers

Apart from setting up subscription plans, you can set up special offers for your subscribers. Consider offering specials for longer subscription commitments. It's like a sneak peek of the amazing content and insights you have in store for them.

To create a special offer, tap the desired subscription plan button, then tap Edit Special Offers → Create Special Offer.

Next, set up offer conditions:

Discount: Set the discount price for your offer. It can vary from 5% to 80% off of the current subscription plan.

Expires in: Set the validity period for your offer. It can vary, starting from 1 day to 365 days.

Max. subscribers: Set the maximum number of subscribers who can take advantage of the special offer.

Only for new subscribers: Determine who will be able to take advantage of this special offer.

Once done, tap Create Offer.

If you would like to view the current offer details or delete it, simply tap its name.

Keep in mind that each subscription plan can have only one special offer at a time. If you’d like to create a new offer within the same subscription plan, you need to delete the current offer or wait until it expires.

Spreading the Word

Now that you’ve connected your channel or group to @CryptoBot, it’s time to promote it! Promoting your channel or group on other social media platforms, and even within relevant Telegram communities is a great way to expand your reach.

A little marketing magic called invite link can go a long way in attracting subscribers.

@CryptoBot automatically creates an invite link to your channel or group once you connect it to the bot. You can copy the invite link right away or tap Rename Invite link to rename it. In order to use a default link, tap Remove Link Name.

Disconnecting a Private Telegram Channel or Group

To disconnect your Telegram channel or group with no subscribers, go to Subscriptions → My Channels, choose a channel or group, then tap Disconnect and confirm deletion.

You can also delete @CryptoBot from admins of your chnnel or group.

If you want to disconnect a channel or group that has subscribers, go to Subscriptions → My Channels, choose a channel or group, then choose Edit Subscription Plans, pick a plan. Next, tap Archive Plan and tap Block Renewals. Repeat this for all active subscription plans and wait untill all subscriptions expire.

Once the subscriptions expire, go to Subscriptions → My Channels, choose a channel or group, then tap Disconnect and confirm deletion.

As you see, there is nothing complicated in connecting Subscriptions by @CryptoBot to a Telegram channel or group. Plus, the benefits speak for themselves.
