What Exactly Are the Differences Between Religion and Spirituality?
We should always be open toRaikov Effect Review new ways and new paths to learn about matters of spirit. My personal feeling is that we come closest to connecting with God, and with the Divine, through deep meditation and contemplative prayer.
When I refer to prayer here, I am not referring to prayer in the typical Judeo-Christian sense where we petition God to grant us some material blessing, or ask for forgiveness when we "sin".
Rather, I am referring to a meditative form of prayer where we turn inward to our own conscience and our own consciousness. By looking inward we find the temple within our own heart where we have asked God to enter and to dwell. Sufi wisdom says, "If you don't already have a temple in your heart, you will never find your heart in a temple."
