How to Set Up Your Store
Congratulations, you’ve successfully created your store! Now, you just need to configure it and add products. In this guide, we’ll show you the elements of the store and what they represent.
On the main page, there’s a settings block for the homepage.
Stories
Stories are rectangular images at the top of your store that allow you to showcase relevant information to customers. You can use them to share more about your company, delivery or payment terms, or even an article like "How to Choose the Right Shoe Size."
Each story consists of three components:
- Image: For proper display, we recommend a vertical rectangular format with a minimum resolution of 300x420.
- Text: A caption on the image that explains the content of the article.
- Link: This is where the user will be directed to read the article. We recommend using Teletype to ensure the link opens inside the store through the built-in browser.
After adding several stories, you can manage their order by dragging and dropping them.
Text Blocks
These are short, informative sections that help deliver important information to your potential customers. You can include your USP, a welcome message, or company details.
A text block can include three elements:
- Accent Color: Helps visually highlight important information.
- Headline
- Text Field
- Button: Useful if you want to link to more detailed content. The button includes a name and a link. We recommend using Teletype for continuity.
Slider
A slider is a set of slides that showcase your products, style, or marketing promotions. There is no limit to the number of slides, but you can only have one slider on the page. To add a slide, you need to provide:
- Image: Square format with a minimum resolution of 1033x1033.
- Link: Optional, but you can use it to direct users to more detailed information.
Block Order
You can customize your store's homepage by changing the order of the blocks. The only restriction is that stories will always appear at the top of the page. Highlight your uniqueness by managing the blocks on the homepage.
Main Store Settings
Teleport allows you to tailor your store to your specific needs. In the menu, there’s a "Store Settings" option where you can configure essential parameters:
- Temporarily Disable Store: A toggle to make the store unavailable to customers. When clicked, a placeholder message will appear stating, "The store is temporarily unavailable."
- Welcome Message: This is the first thing visitors will see. Use it to highlight your USP or share any important information that helps customers get to know you.
- Customer Support: Provide a Telegram account where your customers can reach out. This can be a personal account or a dedicated support bot.
- Language: Select the language for your store. Currently, only English and Russian are available, but more options will be added in the future.
- Currency: Specify the currency in which you accept payments for your products, such as dollars, rubles, cryptocurrency, etc.
- Products: Choose the category of products you sell.
- Color: Select an accent color for your store to help you stand out from competitors and boost brand recognition.
