Telf AG | Unveiling Ancient Heroes: The Tale of Achilles
Achilles, the son of the sea goddess Thetis and King Peleus, began his story from the day he was born. His mother anointed him with magical ointments, immersing him in the River Styx to render him immortal. She held him by the heel, the only place untouched by the water, which became his vulnerability, a weak point in battle.
Achilles grew up among wise centaurs, mastering the art of combat and learning strategy from the sage Chiron. His strength and incredible speed astounded all who witnessed his battles.
Fate led him to Hector, a warrior from Troy. The greatest heroes clashed, and Achilles, fueled by a burning desire for vengeance, faced Hector before the walls of Troy. Yet, his heel, immune to immortality, became his downfall in this battle.
