Caldera specializes in building high-performance, customizable, and blockchain-specific layer 2 applications. These blockchains (Caldera Chains) provide high throughput, low latency and customizable features to optimize the performance and user experience of decentralized applications, with the ability to process hundreds of transactions per second and sub-second confirmation times.

Caldera creates chains that are custom made optimistic rollups.

• Add the “Caldera Goerli Rollup” testnet;

• Then add the “Caldera Polygon USDC Rollup” testnet;

Claiming test tokens

• Request test ETH from the faucet by clicking “Request faucet funds”;

• Enter your wallet address and click “Receive Funds”;

• Next, request test USDC from the faucet by clicking “Request faucet funds”;

• Enter your wallet address and click “Receive Funds”;

• Done.

Making transfers with a bridge

• Visit the bridge and connect your wallet in the “Goerli Ethereum” network;

• Enter the amount of ETH and click “Deposit”;

• Wait for the deposit to finish;

• Done.

Making USDC transfers from the Polygon Mainnet to the Polygon USDC Caldera Chain

• Visit the bridge and connect your wallet (in the Polygon Mainnet);

• Enter the amount of USDC and click “Approve”;

• Next, click on the button “Deposit”;

• Wait for the deposit to finish;

• Done.

Playing Calderamon

• Click “Mint your Calderamon”;

• Connect your wallet to the website;

• Click “Mint your own Caldermon”;

• Done.

• Testnet finished.
