What is Phezzan Protocol

Let’s start with “Phezzan”, which comes from the science fiction series “Legend of the Galactic Heroes”. The Dominion of Phezzan was an autonomous region within the Galactic Empire, a planet-state within the Phezzan Corridor, which was able to serve as a neutral party between the Empire and Free Planets Alliance, and had become a trading center. When we were thinking about names for our project, an autonomous and neutral trading center feels exactly like what we are trying to build.

Phezzan Protocol is a DEX on zkSync 2.0 for trading perpetual contracts while earning interests. It works in 3 simple steps:

• You, the future customers of Phezzan, put staked or saving assets like aUST as collateral for perpetual contracts trading;
• You trade as usual, and when you close your positions, the protocol will return your collateral back;
• You are earning interest generated by your collateral during the trade.

With the current 19.49% APY interesst rate on Anchor, you can trade and earn interests at the same time. In V2 of Phezzan Protocol, you will be able to put all kinds of assets into Phezzan and Phezzan will earn interest for you. Furthermore, when Prism Protocol launches, Phezzan Protocol can use Prism Protocol to divide aUST into principal and yield token, and only use principal token for collateral, thus the interest will always be earned by you even when your losing position is liquidated.

Introduction to testnet

Before you start testing, you need to create a Metamask wallet and install the zkSync Testnet network - download the wallet and install the network

Important point! Do not use your main testnet wallet, be safe and create a separate wallet and use different addresses, it's more reliable, there are a lot of unscrupulous sites now.
