Quasar Testnet Guide — Step by step

Quasar is the home of next-generation DeFi investment opportunities, powered by expert and community-driven strategies. With permissionless and self-governed vaults, liquidity providers can crowdsource and deploy capital across independent blockchains. We’re lowering barriers to entry for DeFi by using efficient infrastructure to make digital asset management fair, accessible, and transparent.

With Quasar, investors can easily participate in DeFi without having to manage complex strategies. Strategists can easily customize strategies for deploying crowdsourced capital across blockchains. We believe expert-driven asset management strategies should be for the many, not the few.

Currently, our focus is on demonstrating the basic functionality of our vaults. This includes bonding, unbonding, and withdrawal.

  • Bond: Locks up your tokens with the vault. You receive pro-rata shares in the form of CW-20 tokens specific to the vault (fungible only while bonded);
  • Unbond: Removes your assets from the vault by converting your vault shares into a claim. An unbonding period begins, after which the withdrawal option becomes available;
  • Withdraw: Converts your claim into the appropriate tokens and transfers them to your wallet.

We will also be testing on-chain governance, but are restricting who can submit new proposals for now.

Cosmos-based decentralized asset manager @QuasarFi has raised $5.4 million at a $70 million valuation ahead of its public testnet.

Anyone who participates in our testnet will be eligible for future airdrop rewards, subject to governance. We’ve opened a Google form for reporting any bugs you encounter. If your bug report is new and contributes to a solution, we will send you some $ATOM — have a beer on us!
