Consideration by the developer Diamond Developers of the use of innovative technologies W.E.T.E.R and V.O.D.A in The Sustainable City project
At the 25th WETEX 2023 International Exhibition, held from November 15 to 17, 2023 in the traditional format at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DWTC), the project team presented the W.E.T.E.R project and the new V.O.D.A. project. Representatives of the Diamond Developers development company participating in the exhibition became interested in technical solutions for generating electricity using wind and liquid. On the part of the Diamond Developers development company, WETEX 2023 was attended by Chairman and CEO Faris Saeed and Deputy CEO Salah Habib.
Representatives of the W.E.T.E.R and V.O.D.A project team representing the exposition at the exhibition had a dialogue with the specified persons of Diamond Developers and provided the requested information and design solutions. As a result of familiarization with the W.E.T.E.R and V.O.D.A projects, contact information was exchanged and it was proposed by the management of Diamond Developers to prepare a concept for the implementation of a design solution for a wind energy complex with an additional 156 m high hydroelectric power generator integrated into the building on the territory of The Sustainable City construction project in Dubai for its consideration and discussions at the Diamond Developers shareholders meeting.
Implementing the proposal of the management of Diamond Developers in early December 2023, the W.E.T.E.R and V.O.D.A project team created a video concept for the construction and placement of a high-rise building with a wind power plant and a hydroelectric power generator, which was sent to the directorate of the development company. In the video, the electric generating building is embedded in the space of the Sustainable City district of Dubai. Following the review of the proposed video material, Diamond Developers hopes to continue the dialogue in the near future on the creation of an integrated electric generating building on the territory of the ultramodern Sustainable City development area of Dubai.
