Based on the international application PCT/RU2017/000383, registered on June 1, 2017. The International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the procedure of international patenting in the PCT system (Patent Cooperation Treaty, 1970) has been transferred to the national phase of patenting the invention "Urban Transport and Logistics System" in the Republic of the Philippines.
In the PCT system, the international application for an invention was published by the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization on the PATENTSCOPE resource (https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2018030915) in February 2018 with the number WO2018/030915 A1. The publication of the application of Tiaglin D.V. was made after the patent search in the form of a brochure, including a standard title page, description, claims, drawings, international search report.
In the interests of the inventor D. Tiaglin, an application PH/1/2019/500162 was submitted on January 23, 2019 for the invention "Urban Transport and Logistics System" to the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) (official website - https://www.ipophil.gov.ph). After the patent search and formal examination in 2021, it was published in the Official Bulletin of Applications. Further, during the substantive examination in 2022, based on the request of experts from the Patent Office of the Philippines, the patent agent provided additional information on the disclosure and description of the invention, explanations on its formula were given. After reviewing the response to the experts' request, it was found that the claimed technical solution is new, inventive and industrially applicable and a positive expert opinion was given on the national protection of the invention "Urban Transport and Logistics System" in the Philippines.
After sending electronic copies of the application materials to the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines and paying the final fees for the registration of the invention and the grant of a patent, it is predicted that the Philippines will receive a security document in early 2024.
Obtaining the protection of an invention in the Republic of the Philippines is important for the prospects of using such a technical solution on its territory.
