In the Kingdom of Thailand, registration continues and substantive examination of the invention "Wind Power Station" is expected. Stage 4

The W.E.T.E.R project team is working to obtain national protection for the Wind Power Station invention in several Southeast Asian countries, where there are prospects for using the invention and creating electric generating buildings. The national phase of patenting the invention "Wind Power Station" in Thailand is conducted in the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) system. Based on the international application PCT/RU2018/000686, filed on October 16, 2018, with the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization and Patent Search, the international application was published on May 2, 2019 on the PATENTSCOPE resource with the number WO2019083411 - https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2019083411

On the basis of an international application in the PCT system, through a patent attorney in the interests of D. Tiaglin, in March 2020, an application for the invention "Wind Power Station" was filed with the Patent Office of Thailand - the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand. The application is registered with the patent office under the number 2001001873A. A preliminary examination of the application took place, a formal examination and a patent search were conducted.

Since the beginning of 2024, the application has been in the queue for substantive examination, during which the signs of patentability of the claimed technical solution will be determined: it must be new, have an inventive level and be industrially applicable.

According to the results of the substantive examination by the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), the claimed technical solution "Wind Power Station" may be recognized as patentable with the decision to issue a national protection document for the invention. It is expected to receive a national security document during 2024.

The protection of the intellectual rights of the inventor is important when carrying out business activities in Thailand, where legislation on the protection of intellectual rights is in force.

Economic growth determines the need for infrastructural development, the use of new technical solutions to create new energy-efficient buildings in modern cities. Therefore, the invention of the "Wind Power Station" as an innovative, original, effective solution may have the prospect of construction and use in Thailand. The invention is able to define a new concept of urban infrastructure, create a perspective in the development of urban areas of this country. There are also grounds for the possible use of wind energy complexes outside cities.
