Today Algeria is an agrarian and industrial country. The leading positions in the economy are maintained by the public sector. The private sector predominates in the light and food industries (70-90%), construction (60%), services, wholesale and retail trade (up to 80%), agriculture (80%). The size of GDP per capita is $609.4 billion.
The basis of Algeria's economy is gas and oil. They provide 30% of GDP, 60% of the revenue of the state budget, 95% of export revenue. Algeria ranks 8th in the world in terms of gas reserves and 4th in the world in terms of gas exports. The main player in this market is the state oil and gas company Sonatrach, which gives about 30% of the country's GNP. In addition to gas and oil, iron ore, phosphates, and non-ferrous metals are mined in the country. Algeria is interested in sources of electricity within cities, near production facilities, as well as in areas isolated from centralized electricity supply. It seems that there is a possibility of using the claimed technical solution and the creation of power generating buildings on the territory of Algeria, which determines the need for national intellectual property protection in this country to conduct normal business activities.
