The Mexican Patent Office continues the registration and expert procedures for the invention "Wind Farm". Stage 6

Obtaining protection for the invention "Wind Farm" is important for the prospects of using the patent in Mexico, the largest economy in Latin America. Based on the international application PCT/RU2018/000686, registered on October 16, 2018 by the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the international patenting procedure in the PCT system was transferred in 2020 to the national phase of patenting Wind Power Plants in the United Mexican States. The application in the interests of D. Tiaglin for the invention "Wind Farm" was filed through a patent attorney in early 2020 with the Patent Office of Mexico - the Institute of Industrial Property of Mexico (Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Intellectual - IMPI). According to the application No. MX/a/2020/004279 for a Wind Farm registered by the Institute of Industrial Property of Mexico (IMPI), in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Industrial Property in 2021, its formal examination and patent search were carried out.

During the substantive examination in the fall of 2023, a notification was received from the Patent Office Department of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) through the patent attorney about the experts' request for additional information on the claimed technical solution and its formula. In January 2024, the patent attorneys sent additional information to the Mexican Patent Office on the description of the invention and clarification of the formula for further consideration of the claimed invention and giving an expert opinion on application No. MX/a/2020/004279. It is expected to receive a positive expert opinion on the claimed invention in mid-2024, as well as the provision by the patent office of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property of the national protection of the invention "Wind Farm".

A Mexican patent for an invention is issued after payment of legal and government fees. Payment of the state fee ensures registration and maintenance of the patent in force for the first 5 years. The validity period of the patent itself is 20 years. The Institute of Industrial Property of Mexico (IMPI) publishes information on the registration of an invention and the grant of a patent in a special source - the Industrial Property Bulletin (Gaceta de la Propiedad Industrial).

The rapid growth of the city is explained by population growth and the influx of migrants. According to some scientists, the formation of large megalopolises has begun in Mexico.
