A business meeting in the UAE on the GOROD L.E.S and W.E.T.E.R. projects, a new concept for the development of Dubai's urban areas
Complex and large-scale projects, their development and extensive information support implies intensive work on the part of project participants and the provision of interesting proposals aimed at attracting investment, resource provision, preparation of interesting design solutions for implementation of innovative infrastructure facilities being developed.
To achieve these goals, business meetings are continuing on the GOROD L.E.S (Logistic Eco System) and W.E.T.E.R. projects themselves, discussing the possibility of their implementation in real urban infrastructure facilities. On June 10, 2022, the author of these projects, D. Tiaglin held a regular meeting in Dubai with His Highness Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, a member of the ruling family of Dubai, Director General of the Dubai Information Department, Chairman of the Dubai International Holding Company and SHUAA Capital, one of the leading independent brokerage investment banks in the MENA region.
D. Tiaglin continued to discuss the prospects for the implementation of these projects, the use of developed facilities in modern urban infrastructure with His Highness Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum. The author of the projects provided additional and new information on the implementation of the W.E.T.E.R. and GOROD L.E.S projects, which are aimed at the development of wind power complex-buildings with wind power installations and the creation of design solutions for a compact multi-tiered urban transport structure, as well as their combined construction in the infrastructure system of a new type of cities, determining their efficiency and giving a new aesthetic appearance to the cities of the future.
A new infrastructure concept for the development of part of the territory of Dubai, where the multi-level infrastructure system of the city, combined with wind power complexes, was presented at the meeting, This concept stipulates a combination of their placement, functioning and interaction, providing an innovative arrangement of the entire urban infrastructure and creating a peculiar architectural appearance of the city. The new infrastructure concept of a part of the territory of Dubai expands the limits of a multi-level system of urban communications, it additionally stipulates the creation of production areas, industrial facilities with a possible closed production cycle, as well as the placement of administrative, public and social facilities within such a system, which ensures its broad functions and compactness. The usefulness and effectiveness of creating such a system of urban infrastructure that embodies innovative ideas is quite obvious.
D. Tiaglin noted that the use of the proposed concept is possible through the renovation of existing urban areas through the gradual modular development of the city with such a multi-level infrastructure system. The technology of urban renovation can be used in most cities of the world, as well as for the creation of new cities. The very infrastructure concept of urban development and the technology of urban renovation can become not only a commercial platform for the most progressive companies, but also a reference point for ambitious social and economic national programs.
Following the meeting, the parties noted mutual interest in projects and a new infrastructure concept, the need for dialogue and the possibility of expanding cooperation.
