Visual demonstration of the W.E.T.E.R project
The accompanying work on the W.E.T.E.R project, which provides for the development and design of new wind energy complexes based on the patented invention “Wind Power Station”, is carrying out the activities to popularize and provide a wide range of people with visual information on the project itself as well as on the invention. The invention is a complex dual-purpose technical object: a wind power complex, combining a vertical-axis wind power station with a building. Such a complex technical object requires visual demonstration of the proposed design, an understanding of the proposed technological process for generating electricity from a renewable energy source – wind.
Visual perception of the complex technical solution of power generation is partially provided by a model demonstrating a new and versatile facility that has the prospect of being used in the infrastructure of cities (settlements) and in the areas isolated from centralized power supply. Public promotion and demonstration of the proposed facility will make it possible for a wide range of interested parties to get acquainted with the content of the project. They include various subjects of economic relations: local governments and state authorities, energy and construction companies, owners of infrastructure facilities (buildings), enterprises, institutions, etc. Model exposition offers new trends in the development of urban areas, allowing to create prerequisites for building an attractive, compact and technologically advanced city.
Each exposition is represented by two mockups and additional graphic and textual information on the W.E.T.E.R project and the wind energy complex. Two mockups represent structures that differ in size, geometric shapes of the elements, demonstrate the intended type and order of the functional interaction of the structural elements of the wind energy complex. Polymer composite materials, plexiglass, polystyrene were used in the designs of the mockups, some elements were made using light structures from non-ferrous metal. For illumination, the mockups are equipped with LED lamps integrated into the design of the hubs demonstrating the building.
